Jail Facility Overview in Pinal County

How to Send Money to an Inmate in the Pinal County Detention Centre?

Pinal County Visitation Rules and Schedules

People who want to visit inmates at the Pinal County adult detention centre can do so in person or via the jail’s video visitation system, available both online and onsite. In-person visitors can either schedule a visit up to 24 hours in advance or go to the jail to schedule a visit date and an inmate. Hours for public visits are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday through Thursday. The only day off from public visits is Friday.

Persons who want to use the video visitation option can do so by creating an account on the Pinal County inmate visitation webpage. Once an account has been successfully created, visitors can use a computer with a webcam and high-speed internet to conduct a video visitation. On-site video visits are free, but 20-minute remote video visits from home or the office cost $6. Some of the rules and guidelines that visitors need to adhere to include :

  • Before being granted permission to visit, visitors must be at least eighteen years old, have a current state-issued photo ID showing their date of birth, and pass a criminal background check.
  • Minor children of detainees may visit only if accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Legal guardians must submit guardianship documents to the court.
  • No food, drink, gum, tobacco, or personal belongings are permitted in any visitor areas.
  • Clothes must be kept clean and in good condition. Shorts and skirts must not be longer than the mid-thigh. Tank tops, halter tops, and spaghetti straps are not allowed; however, sleeveless shirts are. Neither see-through apparel nor mid-drift shirts are permitted.
  • Hats, sunglasses, wallets, cell phones, and electrical devices are among the prohibited items.
  • If a person appears to be impaired by drugs or alcohol, they will not be allowed to enter. If visitors are found in possession of illicit items, they may be arrested and charged with a crime.

Mailing and Commissary Information

The administration of the Pinal County Adult Detention Centre allows individuals to send mail and commissary items to the centre’s inmates.
